Born on November 26, 1956 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Cliff was a son of the late Clifton Hollis Lowery and Mildred Weatherford Lowery. Most of Cliff’s life was spent in the place he called home in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Cliff was a lover of music. There was a time that he wrote and performed. He, also, loved the outdoors where he hunted and fished.
Cliff is survived by sisters Glenda Lowery Bilton (Bobby) of Elloree, South Carolina, and Bonnie Lowery Hayes (Hank) of Aiken, South Carolina,. He has 3 nieces and 2 nephews as well as 8 great nieces and nephews.
The family plans a private graveside service at Sandridge First Baptist Church, Ridgeville, South Carolina,.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Cliff’s memory may be sent to Sandridge First Baptist Church, the church he grew up in, 4677 State Road, Ridgeville, South Carolina, 29472.
