Charles W. Morris

EUTAWVILLE - Charles Wayne Morris, 71, husband of Barbara Ann Morris, died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in a Charleston hospital Visitation will be 3:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill, with a funeral service at 5 o'clock. Burial will be private. Mr. Morris was born in Chillicothe, TX, a son of the late Clyde Morris and Lucille Early Morris. A Navy veteran, he was a retired electrician from the Army Corps of Engineers. He retired to enjoy fishing, as well as shrimping and playing golf, but mostly to enjoy his family. Surviving are his wife of the home; daughters, Shalon (Robert) Hollis and Paige Morris, both of Summerville; grandsons, Brandon and Dallas of Summerville. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
