Charles Franklin "Chuck" Duncan

Charles Franklin " Chuck" Duncan, 75, entered into eternal rest Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Chuck was born in Coleman, Texas October 4th, 1950 to Janie Smith Duncan and Floyd Bert Duncan.

In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn Duncan of 48 years, his sister Beth Duncan Morton, great granddaughter Lainee Grace Buck, sister in laws Terri Williams Duncan and Glenda Sheppard Duncan.

Chuck was part of the Marine Corps as a hydraulic specialist aboard the USS America and was proud to be a Vietnam veteran. He was a lover of coffee, breakfast, nature and his family. He was the true definition of a God fearing man, and showed love to anyone he came across. Anytime you saw him there was a cup of coffee in his hands, and he would talk about his family any chance he got.

Chuck owned and operated Construction and Maintenance Specialist (CMS) in Eutawville for many years and changed the lives of so many through that. In his later life he enjoyed gardening to keep himself busy.

Chuck is survived by sons; Al (Penny) Duncan, Joey Duncan, and Vince (Jovonna) Duncan; siblings: Jessie Duncan, Terry Joe Duncan, James (Brenda) Duncan, and Vivian Ann ( Bill) Barley; grandchildren, Danielle (Chris) Leon, JoAnna Duncan, Martin Duncan, Haley Duncan, and Dalton Duncan and great-grandchildren Addison, Kinsley, Abigail, Raylyn, and Mason.

 He will be greatly missed and his family will carry out his memories forever.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 24, 206 from 6-8PM at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Rd., Holly Hill. A service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11AM at First Baptist Church of Eutawville, 507 Factory, Rd. Eutawville. Burial will conclude at the Eutawville Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence.
