Cecil F. Long, Jr. EUTAWVILLE - Cecil F. Long, Jr., 83, of Eutawville, widower of Virginia Maull Long, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at his home. A memorial service with Masonic rites will be 1 p.m. Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with the Rev. Barry Allen and Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Mr. Long was born in Renovo, Penn., a son of the late Cecil F. Long and Phoebe Summerson Long. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Target United Methodist Church in Holly Hill, and a long-time active member of the Vance Masonic Lodge #230. Surviving are sons, Paul Long of Clayton, Ga. and Robert Voshell of Port Penn, Del.; a daughter, Ann Hummel of Swansboro, NC; sisters, Lois Lewis and Amy Defulgo, both of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Charles Long of Doylestown, Penn.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 noon until the hour of service.
