Carl Winford Wiggins

Carl Winford Wiggins, age 63, of Holly Hill SC passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. Carl was a police officer for 35 years. He was a Christian man who lived to honor God, provide for his family and serve the public. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends, riding his motorcycle on road trips and urban farming. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Patricia Patterson. Two sons; Kristopher Wiggins (Danielle), Cayce Wiggins, Stepson, David Thornburg (Crystal) Grandchildren Hunter and Hatcher Thornburg. He also left behind brothers, Tony Carson and Toby (Linda) Carson along with a sister Rosemary Carson Moore (Tony), Brother Bruce Wiggins (Cindy), Along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill SC, 29059 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 5, 2018. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Avinger Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 6, 2018. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery.
