Calvin A. "Buddy" Moore, Jr. HOLLY HILL - Calvin A. "Buddy" Moore, Jr., 62, of Holly Hill, widower of Leona Myers Moore, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 in a Florence hospital. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Avinger Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Hodges and Mr. John Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this Wednesday. Mr. Moore was the son of Calvin A. Moore and Maybell Martin Moore, and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his daughter, Crystal (Jamie) Adkins of Summerton; sons, Adam Moore and Daniel Moore, both of Holly Hill; sisters, Alvilda Grooms of Washington, NC, and Barbara Wiggins of Holly Hill; brothers, Larry Moore of Eutawville, and Ervin Moore of Cross; and grandchildren, Brittany Moore and James Adkins, Jr.
