Brenda Bolen Wright

Brenda Bolen Wright, 59 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Born on February 3, 1964 in Savannah, GA Brenda was a daughter of the late Mary Winningham Bolen and David Bolen.

Brenda was a nurse for many years at the Methodist Oaks.  She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Eutawville and later at Common Ground. Brenda was a wonderful mother and a beloved sister.  Her pride and joy was being a MeMe to her twenty-three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Wright; and a brother, Braford Bolen.

Brenda is survived by daughters, Jennifer Chaffin (Nathaniel), Kimberly Crummie (Gregory), and Wendy Crummie (Christopher); sisters, Sandra Grice and Theresa Weeks (Vernon); brothers, Leonard Bolen (Judy) and Michael Bolen; sister in law, Julie Bolen; grandchildren, Nick (Brooklyn), Alex (Camryn), Caleb, Joshua, Caydance, Emmanuel, Lydia, Rose, Thorne, Micah, Jonathen, James, Isaac, Aaron, Addison, Taylor, Zeke, Ethan, Mercy, Sarah, Silas and Avalon; great grandchildren, Serena, Dustin, and Kyalyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 12-1PM at Avinger Funeral Home.  The service will follow at 1PM in the Avinger Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will conclude at the Eutawville Cemetery. Pastor Matt Suttle officiating.

Those honoring Brenda as pallbearers will be Nick Crummie, Alex Crummie, Caleb Crummie, Joshua Crummie,  Emmanuel Crummie, and Kevin Bolen.  Honorary pallbearers will be Clinton Crummie and Dale Gilreath.
