Bertha Rudd EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Bertha Jackson Rudd, 66, of Eutawville, widow of John Henry Rudd, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ron Causey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Avinger Funeral Home. Mrs. Rudd was born in Dorchester County, SC, a daughter of the late Herbert B. Jackson and Beulah Lee Huff Jackson. She attended Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, and was preceded in death by brothers Herbert, Stonnie, and John "Bootsie" Jackson. Surviving are daughters, Delores "Sugar Pea" (Jimmy) Weatherford, and Susan (Mike) Weatherford, both of Eutawville, and Debra "Tootie" (Delbert) Garrett of Bowman; sons, Wayne (Brenda) Rudd and Donald (Christy) Rudd, both of Eutawville, and Ronald (Marie) Rudd of Holly Hill; sisters, Ann Rudd of Holly Hill and Maggie Singletary of Orangeburg; a brother, Terry Jackson of Florence; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and her dog, Bruce Lee.
