Arthur Leroy Watkins, Jr

Arthur Leroy Watkins, Jr., 64, of Summerton, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 30, 2013 after a brief illness. The services will be private. He was born Oct. 19, 1948, a son of Ethel Watkins and the late Arthur L. Watkins, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Gooch Watkins, and step-daughters, Deborah Burch and Danya Eason, all of Summerton; his mother, Ethel Watkins and step-mother Hazel Watkins, both of Santee; a son, Sgt. Arthur ("Lee") Watkins, III (Jennifer) and two granddaughters, Callista and Chloe Watkins all of El Paso, Texas; a brother, Billy Watkins of Greenville, SC; and a sister, Virginia (Suzie) Hall of Waynesville, NC.
