Arlene Henry Mandel

Arlene Mandel, 90 of Summerville, South Carolina, formerly of Santee, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Born on September 17, 1932 in Chicago, IL Arlene was a Daughter of the late Juliette Guth Henry and Charles Henry.

Arlene was a member of the Historic Church of the Epiphany.  She was active in Beginning Experience and was a member of the Red Hats Society. A highlight for Arlene was attending Cursillo weekends.

Arlene is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob (Jack) Mandel; her parents; and a sister, Lee Katz.

Arlene is survived by her daughter, Brenda Woodington and grandson, Steven Woodington; a son, Jeff Mandel (Shannon) and his children, and her beloved cats, Grayson and Caylynn.

Services will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local Hospice organization.
