Albert T. Murden

SANTEE-Albert "Al" Thomas Murden, 69, of Santee Cooper Resort, Santee, husband of Sandy Murden, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at his home. A memorial will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the clubhouse in the Santee Cooper Resort. Al was born in Norfolk, Va., a son of the late Leroy Murden and Margaret Scott Murden. He was a retired construction engineer with the former Tidewater Construction, which is now Skanska. Al was an avid golfer and fisherman. Surviving are his wife, Sandy, of Santee; a daughter, Alicia Brennan of Gainesville, Fla.; and grandchildren Kaitlin Brennan and Holly Brennan, both of Gainesville, Fla. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
