William M. Fennell, Jr. EUTAWVILLE - Mr. William M. Fennell, Jr., 71, of Eutawville, husband of Willis Harrington Fennell, died Monday, July 9, 2012 in a North Charleston hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Eutawville. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m., and also immediately following the burial back at the church. At other times the family will be at the home of Bryan and Kim Carson. Willie, as he was known, was a son of Jessie Lee Priester Fennell and the late William Martin Fennell. He was a graduate of North Charleston High School, and was a self-employed Heating, A/C, and Electrical Contractor before retiring in 1993. Willie was member of the Omar Shrine Temple and a member of First Baptist Church, Eutawville. He enjoyed fishing, racing go-carts, and making wire jewelry. Willie especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of Eutawville; his mother of North Charleston; daughters, Lisa (Ron) Nester of Holly Hill, and Kim (Bryan) Carson of Eutawville; sisters Martha (Donald) Steele of Hanahan, Ann (Russ) Pierpoint of Cottageville, Margo Fennell of Ladson, Ruthie (Nelson) Mitchum of Bonneau, and Marie (James) Bunch of Jedburg; brothers, Mark Fennell of Bethera, Joey Fennell of Sumter, and Curtis (Edith) Barnett, Jr. of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Chelsea, Hannah, and Ronnie Nester, and Cole and Connor Carson; and his beloved dog, Sassy. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church, PO Box 484, Eutawville, SC 29048.
