Virgil Greer Bell, Jr.

Virgil G. “VG” Bell, Jr., of Vance, SC entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 21, 2019.
He was the son of the late Virgil G. Bell, Sr. and the late Mattie Williams Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Cheryl Lynne Godbolt; brother, John Melvin; son-in-law, Reginald Godbolt; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired from the Charleston Naval Supply Center and North Charleston Coliseum.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Avinger Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Gerizim United Methodist Church Cemetery in Vance, SC.
