Thelma Ruth Duty

EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Thelma Ruth Duty, 77, of Eutawville, beloved widow of the late Jimme E. Duty, died Saturday, April 25, 2015. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. this Friday at Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Cross. Thelma was a daughter of the late Sebert and Rebel W. Doss. She was retired from Farmers Merchants Bank in Eutawville. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and caring for those she loved most. In addition to her husband of 54 years, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Doss and sister, Helen Doss. Surviving are a son, Thomas (Vanessa) Duty of Cross; a daughter, Ruthann (Norman) Hritz of Eutawville; sisters, Connie (Shelby) Eubanks of Brunswick, OH, and Brenda (Lloyd) Shank of Ohio; a brother, Johnny Doss of Texas; grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron) Boer, Thomas Duty, Jr., Michael (Jessica) Hritz, and Ashley Hritz; great-grandchildren, Caroline Boer, Hayden Duty, Braiden Hritz, Peyton Hritz, Hailey Boer, Audrey Boer, and Cheyanne Whetstone.
