Peter Foster Apple, 81 of Eutawville, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Peter was born September 29, 1939 in New York City, NY to the late Robert Ashby Apple and Helen Foster Apple.
Peter was a graduate of Hobart College and Episcopal Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. Peter served in the US Navy as Lieutenant Junior Grade on the USS Orleans Parish. He was a long-time member of Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli. Peter was President of Board of Directors of Chester County Visiting Nurses, a member of West Chester Chamber of Commerce, Judge of Elections in Willistown Township, and an Active Rotary member. Peter was a retired banker, were he served as the Vice- President. He had a love for Western movies and history of any kind and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving are his daughters, Lawrie Apple Myers (Neil), Meg Apple Claffey (Tom), and Katy Apple (Jeff) all of Eutawville, SC, his grandchildren Chelsea Myers, Sara Myers Sileo (Nick), Madison Claffey, Hannah Claffey, Dillon Claffey, Annie Christiansen, Jack Apple, and Olivia Christiansen. Peter was predeceased by his parents and his wife Joyce Tisdale Apple.
Services will be held privately by the family.
