Patsy W. Clark

EUTAWVILLE - Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" West Clark, 56, of Eutawville, wife of Wilbur Clark, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Avinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Sanders and Pastor Ronnie Spires officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Patsy was born in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late Reuben A. West, Jr. and Barbara Ann Newsome West. She was a former employee of the Piggly Wiggly in Holly Hill, and attended the Fellowship of Praise in Santee. Patsy was a loving wife and mother, and especially enjoyed being a grandmother. In a addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Chrystie (Marty) Pharis of Eutawville, and Angel (James) Smart of Moncks Corner; a son, Matthew (Emily) Clark of Summerville; a sister, Debbie Gaskins (Dicky Etheredge) of Eutawville; and grandchildren, Skylar Pharis, Abby Wright, and Jayme Smart. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.
