SANTEE- Mary Smith Browder, 90, widow of Carliss B. Browder, passed way Sunday, December 10, 2017 at home. Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, December 13 at Avinger Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Spiers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 3pm. Burial will be private in Thomson, GA. She was born in Johnston County, NC a daughter of the late Ida Batton Smith and A. N. Smith. She attended Fellowship of Praise in Santee, where she participated in the Senior Ladies Sunday School class while she was able. She was a loving mother and nana. She is survived by a daughter Julia B. (Andy) Myers of Santee; grandchildren, Julie (John) Weaver of Andrews, NC, Tony (Lori) Myers of West Columbia, Shaina (JW) Grooms of Holly Hill, Ken Weatherford of Holly Hill, Amanda (Frankie) Johnson of Holly Hill; 9 great-grandchildren; and an "adopted" daughter Tricia (Gary) Wolpert. The family would like to thank Mrs. Betty Profit for her loving care and attention she showed to Nana.
