Mrs. Mary Ann F. Lindahl HOLLY HILL- Mrs. Mary Ann Falk Lindahl, 85, wife of Herbert "Herb" Lindahl, died Friday, September 21, 2012 in a Columbia hospital. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, September 24th, 2012 at Hope Lutheran Church in Vance with Pastor Wayne Young officiating. The family will receive friends prior to and after the service. Funeral and burial will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 in Washington, Ill. Mrs. Lindahl was born in Page County, Iowa, a daughter of the late Gotfred Falk and Anna Ericson Falk. She was a former president of the PTA in Danville, Ill., and was a founding and active member of Hope Lutheran Church, Vance. Mrs. Lindahl was a 15 year volunteer at Summerville Medical Center and worked with Hospice. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Nancy Ester and her husband Mickey of St. Louis, Mo.; sons, Bruce Lindahl and his wife, Bobbie of Danville, Ill., Dr. Larry Lindahl and his wife, Diana of Washington, Ill., and Craig Lindahl and his wife, Sue of San Ramon, Cal.; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
