Martha R Davenport

HOLLY HILL- Martha R Davenport, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 12,2017 at Jolley Acres Healthcare Center in Orangeburg. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Thursday, December 14 at Avinger Funeral Home. Burial will be Saturday at the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartwell, GA. Mrs. Davenport was born in Hartwell, GA a daughter of the late Macie Johnson Davenport and Corbett T Risner. She was a member of Jedburg Baptist Church, where while able she taught Sunday school, she also had a love for sewing. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Chris) Davenport Bobo of Santee; a son, Greg Davenport of Summerville; grandchildren, Ashley (Dreher) Kent of St. George, Joshua Davenport and James Davenport, both of Summerville; a great-grandchild, Axl Kent; and a sister, Jewel Skelton of Holly Hill. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
