Lillian Taylor Mendez "Lilly", our sweet and beautiful daughter passed away on August 21, 2018 at her home in Eutawville.
Lilly was born on August 14, 2000 in Orangeburg. She graduated from S.C. Connections Academy on June 1, 2018 and was enrolled in OCTECH. Lilly enjoyed writing stories, reading, drawing and listening to music.
Lilly will be remembered for her laughter, her quick sense of humor and her compassion to help other people.
She loved her family and will always be loved and missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Jenaro and Dorothy Mendez; her brother, Tyler Mendez; her grandmother, Debbie Hayes; uncle, Doug Hayes; aunt, Cissy Hayes; cousins, Lakon Barragan (Jesus), Megan Macias-Hayes, Dustin Jacob Macias-Hayes and many cousins.
She is predeceased by her grandfather, Howard D. Hayes, Sr.
A private memorial service was held for "Lilly" at her home in Eutawville. Support and condolences can be sent to 210 Tucker Road, Eutawville, SC 29408.
