Jim Logan

EUTAWVILLE - James W. "Jim" Logan III, 76, of Eutawville, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services will be 1 p.m.Tuesday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill with Pastor Tommy Wolpert officiating. Burial will follow in the Eutawville Cemetery. Jim was born in Beaufort, a son of the late James W. Logan, Jr. and Lois Sanders Logan. He retired from Sanders Brothers Construction and later worked for the Eutawville Water Department. Jim was the former chief of the Eutawville Fire Department. He was preceded in death by a son, Philip Otis Logan. Surviving are his wife, Mary "Peggy" A. Logan of Eutawville; a son, Jay (Charlene) Logan of Pinopolis; and a grandson, Joshua Otis Logan of Orangeburg. The family will receive friends from5 to7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
