Janice "Jennifer" Martin LINCOLNTON, NC - Janice "Jennifer" Yvonne Martin, 65, a resident of Cardinal Healthcare in Lincolnton, NC, formerly of Vance, SC died Tuesday, May 8, 2012. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at the graveside in Gerizim United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Barry Allen officiating. Jennifer was a daughter of Rosettia Suggs Martin and the late Percy Clifton Martin. She was a graduate of Holly Hill High School and a member of Gerizim UMC. Jennifer enjoyed crocheting, especially afghans, dolls and doll clothes. Surviving are her mother of Lincolnton, NC; a sister, Gussie M. Knight of Lincolnton, NC; a niece, Wanda O'Donnell of Lincolnton, NC; nephews, Donald Allen Jones of Concord, NC and Henry Allen Jones, Jr. of Albemarle, NC; and a number of great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday before the service from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill, SC. Memorials may be made to Gerizim UMC, PO Box 121, Vance, SC 29163.
