Eleanor W. Laude

SANTEE: Eleanor Winkler Laude passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. Eleanor was born in Union City, NJ, the only child of August Winkler and Mary Cecelia Vaughn Winkler. She is survived by her husband, Roger J. Laude. Eleanor worked for Warner Lambert/Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for over 40 years. She retired in 1988 when she and Roger set out for adventures around the world. They visited China, Japan, Alaska and even went on a safari in Africa where they were armed with a camera and Eleanor was always the model in the picture. They also traveled the entire United States and were able to visit every state. After moving to Santee in 1996, Eleanor became active at Saint Ann's Catholic Church, and enjoyed sewing and other crafts. She made clothes for herself and for her husband. There will be no services at this time but memorials may be made to the SC Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd - Ste L, Anderson, SC 29621.
