Debra J. Platt

SANTEE - Debra J. Platt, 47, of Santee, died Friday, October 12, 2012 at her home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Avinger Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Platt Cemetery. Debra was born in Holly Hill, a daughter of Leo Scott Platt White and the late William L. Platt. She was a former truck driver. Surviving are her mother of Eutawville; a daughter, Melody Johnson of Eutawville; a sister, Rebecca Lynn Pearson of Manning; a brother, Michael Platt of Miami, Fla.; and grandchildren, Trey Jackson and Brooklyn Johnson, both of Eutawville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
