David R. Brazell

SANTEE - David R. Brazell, 74, of the Providence Community, Santee, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Avinger Funeral Home in Holly Hill. David was born Feb. 21, 1940 in Columbia, a son of the late Owens Brazell and Ruth Neeley Brazell. Surviving are his wife, Gloria of the home; sons, David Eugene "Gene" Brazell of the home, and Lee Brazell (Tawana) of Holly Hill; a sister, Annette Smith (Al) of West Columbia; a brother Stanley Brazell (Lennie) of Kingstree; and six grandchildren.
