Charles R. Ayers, Sr.

SANTEE - Charles Robert "Bobby" Ayers, Sr., 87, husband of Lula Ann 'LouAnn' Mizell Ayers, passed away, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Pruitt Health in Bamberg. There will be a visitation of family and friends this Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill. Bobby was born in Holly Hill, a son of the late Tiller Ayers and Mamie Parler Ayers. He was retired from Giant Cement. Bobby enjoyed fishing and was a member of First Baptist Church, Eutawville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lorrie (Mike) Lott of Bamberg; sons, Charles (Deborah) Ayers, Jr. of Eutawville and William Douglas (Tina) Ayers of Orangeburg; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; anda number ofgreat-grandchildren.
