Brett Phillip Smith, 29, of Summerville, South Carolina, formerly of Imperial, Missouri died on Saturday, November 7, 2020 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Born on April 10, 1991 in North Charleston, Brett was a son of Charles Rhett Smith and the late, Pamala Marie Smith.
Brett enjoyed being a Connoisseur of Beer, he brewed on his own and enjoyed doing so. He enjoyed Grilling in the outdoors for others and smoking meats. He was very skilled at playing the guitar, Trivia and he enjoyed the learning of History. He was a kind soul who made friends easily with practically anyone. Brett enjoyed spending time with animals and had a special place in his heart for them.
Brett is preceded in death by his mother and his maternal grandmother, Janet Dieckmann; Brett is survived by his, father, Charles R. Smith and his wife, Lillian of Holly Hill, South Carolina; his siblings, Charles Robert Smith of Jedburg, South Carolina, Daniel Lee Smith and his wife, Jennifer of Charleston, South Carolina, Brian Rhett Smith and his wife, Tammy of High Ridge, Missouri and Aimee Marie Smith of Summerville, South Carolina; his nieces and nephews, Hayleigh, Hannah, Hayden, Matthew, Clara and Ada; his uncle, Charles " Chuck " and his wife, Gigi of Tennessee.
A gathering of Brett's family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, South Carolina 29059
