Brett Bush

FLORENCE - Gerald Brett Bush, 51, of Florence, passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Florence. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Providence United Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Martin officiating. Burial will be private. Brett was born in Greenwood, a son of Lomie B. Adams and the late Charles W. Bush. He was a Navy veteran and a mechanic. Brett liked motorcycles and was preceded in death by a son, Charlie Bush II. Surviving are his mother of Santee; daughters, Cristal Bush (Anthony Firestine) and Brittany Sweatman (Chris Moore) all of Florence; a brother, Ricky Bush of Holly Hill; and grandchildren, Ashlyn, Charlie Bradley, and Matthew, Jr. The family will receive friends after the service at the church on Tuesday, and other times at the home of Leon and Jamie Dantzler. Memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or Providence UMC, C/O Frankie Dantzler, 2988 Bass Dr., Santee, SC 29142.
