Betty Sue Avinger Blount

SHERIDAN, WY - Betty Sue Avinger Blount, 83, of Sheridan, WY, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan, WY. She was born September 16, 1931 in Orangeburg County, SC to the late Hebert Franklyn and Susan Sweatman Avinger. In addition to her parents, Betty Sue is preceded in death by her sister, Katie Carson; and her loving baby brother, Herbert Max Avinger; and a grandson, Brandon Gene Blount. She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Gene Blount and wife, Amy of Washington, and Andrew Franklin Blount and wife, Cindy of Eutawville; daughter, Arginia Elizabeth Blount Lichtenstern; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Betty Sue will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Eutawville Cemetery with Pastor Todd Hodge officiating.
