Barry Carson

EUTAWVILLE - Barry Carson, 66, of Eutawville, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 in a North Charleston hospital. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Avinger Funeral Home, Holly Hill, with Rev. Buddy Locke officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends after the service. Barry was a son of the late Phillip Ray Carson and Lorene Wiles Carson Hutto. He was a retired Captain with SCDNR and was Wildlife Officer of the Year two times. Barry was a former operator of Polly's Landing. Surviving are brothers, Ken Carson of Santee, Joe (Mary Anne) Carson of Charleston, and Gene (Diane) Carson of Summerville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
